The horse flies into the air in a graceful manner with the ring leaders guiding his moves as the crowd watches in amazement in the circus stands. The members and animals of the circus had been working on their routines a whole year before the show had even started and the hard work had paid off.
Rule of Thirds- Having the Subject not in the middle and being somewhere off to the side.
Balancing Elements- balance in colors or balance in the amount of stuff happening on both sides
Leading Lines- lines in the photo that lead your eye to the focal point
Framing- To surround the subject, and giving it the finished look.
Create Depth - layers within the photo with foreground, mid-ground and background
Repetition- repeating an element making the photo pleasing to the eye
Viewpoint- Where your eye would go first in the photo.
Mergers- avoiding color crashing and subject mixing or getting lost in the photo
Cropping- removing unnecessary points of a photo so the photo is pleasing
Background- having a pleasing and subtle background for the subject
Aperture- a hole in the camera that determines the amount of light being let into the camera
Shutter speed- the amount of time that the camera is open, letting in light during that opening time
ISO- the level of sensitivity due to the light available for the camera
It's unacceptable to change a persons features in a photo through photoshop and adding or removing things from a photo so that it is untrue.
Enviromental: interacting with the scenery and what is around the subject
Self: the subject taking the picture themselves
Casual: fun, in-the-moment, no-formal, natural
Exposure: the appropriate lighting and having it well exposed
Depth of Field: the blur of the surroundings and background around or behind the subject
Focal Length: the (in or out) zoom of the lens
Early: simple, poster-style, minimal words, vintage look
Poster: a cover that would resemble a poster or a form of simple art
Words Married to Type: less words that would only relate to the cover
Forest of Words: lots of words surrounding the subject of the cover
