Front Pages of The World

1. My favorite front page is Herald News from Woodland Park, NJ, USA. I chose this one because it is very colorful and that is a factor I think draws viewers in because color is interesting. Also it is a funny dominant photo because behind the lady walking through the snow, is a ad for swimsuits which is very ironic.

2. My favorite headline is "Sugar Tax Touted to Fight Obesity" because this is a problem for our country and I believe many people are aware of this. The reason that this is my favorite is because it is something most people would be interested and can attract the readers compared to something that sounds less boring such as politics or something along those lines.

3. There are three stories on the front page.

4. The very first thing I noticed is there is one photo bigger than the others. Second, one subtitle for a story is bolder than the others and I'm assuming they did this in order for that to be the first people want to read, therefore making it the most interesting one. Finally, there is an index as to what is in the newspaper and some sort of ad.

5.  The things that vary are the number of stories, having small photos or big (but there is always a dominant), where the index is, the amount ads and how long the stories are. The most obvious one is how everything is laid to because not every single newspaper cover will have the same design and elements and factors will in different spots.
