At Home in Denver: This is #1 to #7.

In Iraq: This is #51 to #70.
Back in Denver: This is #71 to #82.
I believe the last set, back in denver, is the most powerful set. It shows the power of friends, family and home has on someone and how important it is. Even after a long time span, Ian still misses his family and didn't stop for one minute. It is obvious that these things in that set of photos mean a lot to Ian.
These photos work together and tell a story by showing the maturing and development of a man through war, love, family and independence. One effect of it being a story is the time span and the photos taken over time like a story and they all can relate to the one before it and over a series oh photos it shows change of a person.
The photos in which Ian is the main subject is present tense.
Captions can enhance photographs by creating more focus on the subject, creating more interest towards the photo and providing more information to the viewer.
Ian says goodbye to his family as he leaves for a very long time and everyone gets very emotional. Ian had planned to move to New York to live with his girlfriend and was not going to be able to visit his family that much.
Ian and many other boys and men stand and wait, ready to practice for joining the army. This morning ritual, had easily become part of their daily routine, for it had been going on for the past 2 months.
Ian and girlfriend wait to get the final words of their new marriage. Both members of the relationship wanted a more traditional wedding but they had lacked the money to make that kind of event happen. Either way, they were very happy they had finally been united in love.
