9/11 6 Rules of Composition

This represents rule of thirds because of the twin towers which are on the right side. It makes the picture more interesting to look at because the eye naturally moves around around more when its off centered.

This picture was the most obvious for framing because the partial wall around the firefighter. Also its framing because it's all black thats framing color so the eye naturally will focus on the color.

  I chose this picture for simplicity because there is nothing in the background. The main focus is the buildings, explosion and it's obvious what the obvious what the subject is and your eyes go straight to it.

I chose this photo for leading lines because both the water and the ladder are leading to the firefighters. Also the lines are somewhat diagonal which is more appealing to the eye than straight because the lines covers more area so you naturally look at more of the picture.

I chose this photo for balance because it almost looks like a mirror image. There is the same amount of interesting things on both sides such as the fountain, the names and buildings.

This shows a bad example of avoiding mergers because of the bar between the two peoples heads. When I first glanced at this, I almost thought their heads were connected.
