Top 40 Photos

 I chose this photo because I could tell it would be about peace because of the symbolism of the flower and that drew me towards the photo and I had always been drawn towards the "flower power" idea. I like the composition of the photo because of the way they set up the camera so that you could see all the guns and soldiers lined up and the fear on her face. I believe the reason this made the top 40 is because this photo symbolizes the flower power idea as it says in the caption. Photographer: Marc Riboud

 I chose this photo because I love animals and I was drawn towards it because it shows a special bonding level of humans and animals. I like how in the composition of the photo, it shows the damage that the fire did in the background, which in my opinion adds to the affect of the photo. The reason I believe this made the top 40 is because as I said earlier, it shows a special bond between animals and humans and how both rely on each other in different ways. I picked this photo because it was very emotional and made me very emotional seeing family bonding and it means a lot because if this ever happened to me I would feel the exact same way. In the composition of the photo, it shows this all happened in public because of the people just casually walking by and I think that adds more to the effect and emotion. This made the Top 40 in my opinion because this is an event that happens a lot in America or anywhere and I think it shows how important family is to people no matter what.
