The Falling Man Reaction

When I first saw the photo and articles of the falling man, I was shocked. It scares me to think that people were willing to jump and have almost full guarantee that they wouldn't make it alive. There was probably more of chance of surviving if they tried to go down the building. But the people who ended up jumping, would have gathered get the suffering over and just end everything without the pain which is the part that scares me the most.
