The person I chose to research more in depth was Minor White. White was born on July 9th, 1908 in Minneapolis Minnesota. He went to school at Columbia University and University of Minnesota. He worked as a primary teacher at CSFA but his main focus was obviously photography. White did write multiple books and one of them was "The New Zone System Manual". White died June 25, 1976
