This shows detail because it highlights one small area of the house and emphasizes it eccentric details. It gives character house compared to a picture of the building because it shows the amount of effort and specific characteristics that make up the house.

L I G H T

This shows light because the focus and subject of the photo is the light reflecting onto the building. The light shows and represents the color and brightness of the house.

P A T T E R N S

This is pattern because what makes the photo interesting is the colorful dots that cover the wall and orange stripes compared to a plain, straight wall. The extreme repeated patterns presented adds character and definition to the building.

A N G L E S   A N D   S H A P E S

This shows angles and shapes because there is almost no boring shapes like squares, rectangles and 90 degree angles. The house is filled with circles, ovals and curves fill the space.

S U R R O U N D I N G S

This shows the surroundings because it is the exterior of the house which shows the area. It works because if it were inside then you could not see the area that surrounds the location of the building.
