The Big Day Video Analysis

The story starts by a man driving intensely and looks as if he's running late and shows a bride getting ready and a man sitting with her and they both check the time and look nervous and look as if they are waiting for someone. You get the idea they are waiting on the stressed man driving. Then the driving man keeps getting stuck in places and he gets frustrated. He finally pulls in front of the church and runs in. When the man frantically runs through the doors, the bride looks at him as she is getting married.

Who: the stressed man driving
What: arrives late to a wedding
When: on the day of an important wedding
Where: a small church in the rural area
Why: all we know is he is late
How: bc things keep him from arriving on time

The opening is man driving on a curving road in a rural and cloudy area. The man driving wipes sweat from his forehead nervously. The next scene is a woman in a wedding dress smiles as women fix her dress. The car speeds by quickly again through the winding road. Another older man sitting in the chair, watches the bride getting ready. She looks at her ring and looks out the window and both men look down at their watches. The man driving gets stuck behind a car but speeds past them frantically. He also gets stuck behind a train and gets extremely frustrated as the church door shuts. He quickly pulls in front of the church and runs in and a groom and the bride are married and both give him a sympathetic look. The viewer assumes throughout the whole video that the man is the groom who is late to his own wedding but when we realize he is not getting married, it leaves you in suspense. Some ideas are he thought he was getting married, he's a groomsman or wants to stop the wedding.

The big day finally had come for Rachel Greene; she was getting married. However Chandler Bing, Rachel's best friend, was very late to the wedding. He speeded through the rainy weather through the rural surroundings in order to arrive to the small church on time. The reason Chandler arrived not-so-fashionably late was all the impediments that slowed him down.
This predicament caused both Chandler and Rachel lots of stress but she had to continue the wedding. When Chandler finally arrived, he frantically ran in on the vows as Rachel sympathetically looked at him.
Many emotions ran through Jeffrey's head as he drove for a long time.
"I felt like it had been hours of driving and the whole time, the only thing I felt was pure stress because I was missing my best friend's important day and that would be heartbreaking for both of us if I did not show up," Bing said.
The reason for this late arrival was because many things kept him from getting there.
“There were so many distractions such as trains, slow cars and bad weather,” Bing said.
However, Rachel was able to handle it a little more calmly.
"At first I was very nervous, but I knew he would never miss it and even if he didn't end up showing up, he would never do it on purpose. Also worst case scenario, I would still have everyone else who mattered so I would not be alone," Greene said.
The audience however was not so happy about someone bursting in late to the wedding.
“I was actually quite offended someone was rude enough to run in and interrupt this extremely important life changing event happening,” Rachel’s mom said.

In the end, the wedding continued on as it was before and Rachel and Chandler were both satisfied with his presence.
