Final Exam Review

1. I watched and read that iMovie is a program that applies a collage photos and videos into a short clip. You can also apply fun effects, titles and settings. To start off, you can import footage from phones, cameras, the computer, etc. Once you are done editing, you can export the complete project and save it as an iMovie file or quick time file.

The only way you can use iMovie is through a Mac computer. There are three parts to the screen; the viewer, project library and project workspace. The way you can move your footage to the actual project is to simply drag it. When you first open iMovie, it gives you the option to make a movie or trailer. The trailer is a template where you enter footage but there are already music, titles and transitions and the movie is from scratch.

2. Because I am very familiar with iMovie, I already knew how to enter titles and effects, how to import videos and where to find everything. I also knew how to select specific footage and place it into the project.

3. I learned the name of the places to find things (ex. the viewer) and I also became a lot more comfortable how to export and change the file of the project. Before the lessons, I always thought it could only be an iMovie file.

4. The one thing I am concerned about is the story and if it will be interesting enough and the voiceover and if it fits perfectly with my photo story.

5. I am confident that I will have the photos in time and still have time to work on it and make it better. I am also confident the final project will be nicely edited.

6. The topic that I am thinking about is a plant growing, although that would be somewhat oring. My stronger idea is the story of my room because it gets really messy after about a week and all of a sudden gets really clean, therefore I think it would be somewhat funny and entertaining.
